Description

The ESKA Line Glass pergola is an aluminium terrace roof with a transparent roof made of safety glass. It combines year-round protection from rain and snow with maximum natural daylight in the space. The glass roof gives the structure lightness and elegance, creating a bright, spacious relaxation area.

The only material used is toughened or laminated, impact-resistant glass – if damaged, it breaks safely without causing cuts. This makes the ESKA Line Glass pergola an attractive alternative to classic louvred roofs, meeting the needs of customers who want to bring light onto their terrace while keeping full protection from rain and snow. The only drawback of this solution may be the space underneath heating up in the sun, which is why additional sun screens or awnings are often used below or above the glass.

Advantages of a pergola with a glass roof

  • Year-round protection – the glass roof provides effective shelter from rain and snow all year round without limiting the flow of natural light onto the terrace.
  • Safety and durability – we use toughened or laminated glass, which is several times more impact-resistant than ordinary glass. If it breaks, the panes stay bonded together by the film, which minimises the risk of injury.
  • Elegant look – the glass roof gives the structure lightness and a modern character. As a result, the terrace gains an elegant style, and the space under the pergola is bright and spacious.
  • Orangery option – combined with side glazing, the ESKA Line Glass pergola can serve as a glazed winter garden or orangery. This solution creates a “year-round protected” zone, open to light and views.
  • Extended season of use – thanks to the roof, the terrace can be used for a much longer period. In hospitality in particular, a sheltered terrace makes it possible to extend the season (more guests, extra tables), which translates into greater comfort and profits.

Technical features

The ESKA Line Glass pergola stands out for its solid aluminium structure – powder-coated in any colour from the RAL palette – resistant to corrosion and the weather.

High-quality materials and precise workmanship guarantee trouble-free operation for many years. In addition, the pergola can be equipped with the following elements:

  • LED lighting – remote-controlled LED spot and linear fittings that light up the terrace after dark, so you can relax at any time.
  • Smart control and sensors – the remote or app control system makes it easy to open/close the blinds. Weather sensors protect the pergola automatically – e.g. by closing the roof and screens in strong wind or a downpour.
  • ZIP side screens – built-in blinds protect against wind, rain and insects and provide privacy, extending the comfortable season of using the pergola even further.
  • Integrated water drainage system – special profiles collect and carry away rainwater, preventing it from accumulating on the roof.

Orangery and winter garden

Thanks to its aluminium frame and glass side panels, the ESKA Line Glass pergola can serve as an elegant orangery or winter garden. This solution makes it possible to create a space that is fully protected from bad weather yet open to light and views.

For private customers

A pergola with a glass roof is a great solution for a home terrace or garden. It lets as much light as possible into the interior – especially important if the terrace adjoins the living room. This kind of roof is ideal for terraces next to the living room, because it combines daylight with protection from rain and snow. Users gain a comfortable place to relax and meet outdoors practically all year round, whatever the weather.

For businesses and the HoReCa sector

In restaurants and hotels, the ESKA Line Glass pergola is an additional area for guests. A covered terrace with a glazed roof makes it possible to hold receptions, dinners or business meetings even when the weather is uncertain. This allows restaurateurs to increase the number of available seats and extend the season for serving guests. Using side glazing and terrace heating even allows year-round use, which, as experience shows, translates into higher revenue for the venue. The elegant design of the pergola also raises the prestige of the place and attracts customers.

The ESKA Line Glass pergola is a versatile solution that combines minimalist design with advanced technology. Our offer allows for individual configuration – choice of dimensions, RAL colour, additional screens or lighting – so every project is tailored to the customer's needs. Who Glass is for

Glass is chosen by people whose terrace adjoins the living room and who do not want to darken it. In restaurants and hotels it is an extra room for guests, and with side glazing and heating it works in winter too.

Questions about Glass

Isn't it too hot under a glass roof?

Glass lets the sun through, so on south-facing terraces we add sun shading below or above the glass.

Can Glass be turned into a winter garden?

Yes. With glazed sides, the pergola works like an orangery or winter garden.
